Brighton Pier was opened in grand ceremony on May 20th 1899. At 1,722 ft long and arguably the finest ever built, Brighton Pier is a Grade 2 listed building with original kiosks, a signal cannon from the Old Chain Pier and filigree ironwork arches that graced the original Brighton Pier.

If coming from M25 west take A23 and before reaching Brighton turn east on A27 to Eastbourne when you reach Polegate at the outskirts ignore signs and turn right then follow signs to town centre when you reach roundabout at railway station turn right down Grove road go over into Grange road over until Silverdale Road turn left and South Cliff avenue is about 300 mtrs on right.
